Reads: Friday. Dear Ruth, We toured Harold Lloyd's villa today, where we saw this strange and barbaric Christmas tree, still with all its ornaments, put up in 1965 when Lloyd was still alive. It was like something in an Indian temple. The house is quite eerie and never has been modernised since it was built in 1929-- we may use some of it, especially the kitchen and gardens. Tonight we're having dinner with Dorothy and Al Strelsin and I'm rather looking forward to it. Much love, Jim.
