Summary
Thanking him for letter of the 11th; saying that he is "disappointed at the delay over the proofs of "When I Was a Child"; apologizing for not answering his question about "The Burning-Glass" and doesn't have former letter at Twickenham but accepts changes; discussing "the Leland Hayward business"; hearing from Jean Rogers that Frances Pindyck left and that it has been taken over by Music Corporation of America; expressing surprise at not hearing from Frances Pindyck "as we were such good friends and she knows how grateful I am to have always been for all the help and advice she has given me."; recalling that "When Ralph Pinker failed I left my affairs with Litt in America" and wondering about "any legal rights" and asking for amy information; saying glad to hear about the "ghost anthology" and securing "so fine an illustrator for "your other anthology"; feeling that he has been lucky with Faber reprints as well; wondering if he will be coming to England this year.
