Summary
Thanking him for letter from May 29, glad the books arrived; laughing at use of the word "munificence"; updating on "Love"; hoping to have introduction finished soon; saying he is "burdened with two hundred pages of notes"; "I am quite certain that the actual finishing of the introduction will not produce the effect that your 'piece of criticism' of Virginia Woolf had on you"; anticipating no elation; saying that his copies of Bells and Grass have not yet reached him; explaining that "the general scheme of 'Love' was so different from what they had forseen" because it might have common inclusions with "their Book of Poetry.
