Summary
A short bio of James Ivory, ending with a projected adaptation of "Richard II" to be shot in France and England. Following the text of the bio is a note to "Gil" [John Gilbert Donaldon, Jr., then head of Merchant Ivory's Paris office]: "Be sure you see the translation of this before it's printed up. Please make certain that it's "Richard II" and not "Richard III," the better-known play in France if I'm not mistaken."
