Summary
Relating to her what he has been able to learn of his ship, the Cornwallis's, planned movements, which include departing from the East India docks in November and heading for Gravesend to take in passengers before heading out to sea; writing that the ship is not yet finished and that he is consequently taken lodgings on Cotton Street Poplar where the coffee is weak and he has been plagued by biting insects.
