Summary
Describing what she finds "dubious" about NIzamuddin [the Sufi saint, whose shrine in Denhi they have all visited numerous times], and voicing the theory that he had been a Thug prior to becoming a scholar and holy man; telling Ivory about the Agnes Varda film she saw a few days ago, "Cleo from 5 to 7"; comparing it unfavorably to Varda's "Le Bonheur"; going on to mention two other similr (to her) films she did not enjoy, "Easy Rider" and "Midnight Cowboy," and F. Scott Fitzgerald's "This Side of Paradise"-- all somewhat "adolescent" in her opinion; telling him about a concert she attended featuring Gangubai Hangal and Vilayat Khan; adding in a note that she'd gotten the price of Talkie" tickets wrong, and that Usha Iyer will be performing at the premiere; about the premiere, saying "I will try to get what reports I can, but it does all sound boring."
