Acknowledging receipt of Saleh's letters in when he was in Udaipur; enclosing a copy of a wire he sent to David Diener; telling Saleh that "in order for me to Leave [sic] India as soon as possible, I must have a fully executed agreement on Savages between Dia and MIP with proper credit clause to Merchant Irovy [sic] Productions and the rest of the clauses to be included as per our discussion prior to my departure for India"; pointing out that he must "settle all my affairs with the Reserve Bank before I can finally leave for New York"; referring the the "Fadali funds" in the UK; congratulating Saleh on the Walter Reade agreement; promising to help with arragements for the Cannes Film Festival when he arrives in New York and telling him he has managed to get Air India to agree to fly some of the cast to France for the Cannes reception.
