Summary
Hoping that Ivory has sent "the photograph of Savages," and asking for a set of reviews of MIP's previous productions-- "Householder," "Shakespeare Wallah," "The Guru," and Bombay Talkie" -- to also be sent to their offices in India; assuming that by now Ivory must have seen "the croquet ball sequence shot by Walter [Lassally]-- How is it?"; commenting on some of the performances in "Savages"; asking Ivory to show the film to composer Joe Raposo "without any further delay"; telling him "I am with you in spirit-- do not be disheartened [...] you have made a very interesting & unusual film. I like it and I am sure it will be successful"; telling him he is leaving for Hyderabad on Monday and "then will go to Delhi for Flashman and back to Bombay on Friday"; saying he spoke to Jhab and is looking forward to being in Delhi; reminding Ivory to "remind Joe [Saleh] to get the contract signed with proper credit & final cut clauses included"; telling him "Tony [Korner] is planning to come to Bombay by the 29th of October, after he delivers the Chaudhuri documentary to the BBC; closing "I think of you and wish you were here with me."
