Summary
Noting that "It was sad to see you and Ruth standing by the gate-- I felt [I was] leaving something precious behind"; telling him the Air India flight was good, except that they ran out of gin and vodka, there were so many drinkers; assuming that the Air India staff have not yet gotten used to the new 747s; reporting that he has "given the Chaudhuri footage to David [Gladwell?] and he will get a print made and send it on to you," and that "Bruce Wilkinson[?] will be bringing the negative of the croquet ball sequences with him-- Walter [Lassally] did not print those shots"; entreating Ivory to "please get it finished" ["Savages," presumably]; asking Ivory to "please send Tony's pictures with [unreadable] on Friday and his velvet suit which is hanging in the closet"; saying he saw Peter Phillips "and it seems that something will work out"; asking Ivory to pay "Dick" $500 and to send some elephant pictures [?] to try to get some money for them.
