Summary
Telling her he visited her family and had lunch, "talked about Jim and listened to Mozart. It was like being at home"; saying he is leaving for New York today "and will be there till you arrive-- You must come in the first week of September"; announcing that "Flashman" will start in November and he must go back to India by the third week of September, but "this all depends on a great many things"; telling her "Bombay Talkie is opening at the Paris Pullman on August 5th" and reviews so far have been good so he is hoping it will have "a decent run"; thanking her for the clippings and saying he will show them to Jim in New York; letting her know Ivory is "enjoying himself in Tangier"; expressing his satisfaction with the Nirad Chaudhuri documentary, and asking her to "write to me in New York and come soon."
