Summary
Writing that Stanley Pargellis has forwarded the de la Mare story "The Hangman Luck"; describing the story's contents; specifying that even if it is more of a horror tale and less of a supernatural/fantastic story, it will still read well alongside the other two stories selected for the de la Mare collection; enclosing the details for the other two stories (A Mote and The Moon's Miracle) and a typescript of the third so Wagenknecht can begin writing the introduction to the collection; saying de la Mare has written with some corrections, but that these should not alter the material enough to affect the introduction, and that they won't arrive for a while because de la Mare is "very slow and deliberate, and I shall have all I can do to persuade him to send the changes in time"
