Summary
Writing that he will send the manuscript proofs of Arkham House's new Herbert Russell Wakefield collection; noting that of the three Wakefield stories Wagenknecht has read, only "Farewell Performance" will be anthologized, so any of the others are free for Wagenknecht to use in his ghost story collection; saying Wagenknecht may keep the pages of any stories he wishes to use, but to arrange that with Arkham House ahead of time; hoping the anthology goes well, and pointing out that he mentioned it in the bulletin he enclosed with the letter; printing a list of books returned to him and books Wagenknecht is still borrowing on verso of the letter.
