Summary
Writing that the manuscript Wagenknecht sent arrived in decent shape; admitting to not knowing which Marjorie Bowen stories he plans to include in his collection; writing that of the three he has read, only one reads as an actual ghost story; saying he will write to Bowen and request access to the stories she did not send along; confused by Wagenknecht wanting to anthologize two of Bowen's more well-known and much-anthologized stories "The Crown Derby Plate" and "The Avenging of Anne Leete"; expressing that he assumed Wagenknecht would "want to us one of the other, less well-known tales, as I should."
