Thanking them for "the pair of [sun]glasses, [sent] via Shashi"; telling them how much she liked Kashmir and what a shock the heat of Delhi was when they came back; describing how, every morning they go to the Roshanara Club to swim, and in the evening they play tennis and swim again; complaining "It's so hot here that one doesn't feel like doing anything, it's too hot to read or sleep (I'm talking about the afternoons)."
