Summary
Giving notes on some lines for a scene in "The Guru" with the Ustad, and another with Jenny during the music conference sequence; asking Ivory if there are any characters who "have too many of the same kind of scenes"-- using Durga Khote in "Householder" as an example-- and she will write something to augment that character; picking up a telephone conversation they had about "the old Guru" [Nana Palsikar, who plays the Ustad's Guru in "The Guru"] coming to Delhi and what to do with him while he's there; asking if "your producer" (Merchant) or "his co-producer" (Muriel Peters), or "the local Fox office here (Mr. Noronha)" can help with the arrangements, but concluding that they are probably too busy; expressing concern that he will shoot the music conference sequence before getting this letter; asking for a copy of their schedule in Bikaner when it's finalized; asking how Carlo is [possibly Giancarlo Pettini, the production controller].
