Summary
Telling her that before leaving London, he and Merchant met actor Roshan Seth; giving some background and his impressions of Seth; describing the same situation that Merchant did in his letter of the same date [see MA 23840.444], that Fox doesn't know what to make of "The Guru" or how to market it, and they all dislike Michael York's performance; expressing his conviction that "Ismail can safely steer us into the right theatre" but noting that "I detect a note already of resignation, and, something new for him, of a certain lack of confidence in the film"; concluding, "Please write to him... He needs a pep talk."
