Summary
Saying he has "marked up these proofs [of Wagenknecht's Mark Twain book] a good deal" but that he would probably erase most of his suggestions if he went over them again; complimenting Wagenknecht's book; in a postscript, expressing joy that Wagenknecht liked "My Platonic Sweetheart" and "The Mysterious Stranger", and suggesting he will tell him more about both stories if he sees him in person.
