Summary
Giddily opening, "I have your telegram but am still anxiously awaiting the letter it promised. I long to hear more of such good news, and indeed until I do-- well, I refuse to believe it"; emphasizing the importance, now, of delivering a completed script for "The Guru"; expressing a willingness to do whatever work is necesary, short of restructuring the plot; turning to issues of casting, saying she would like to have Foo [Felicity Kendal], and commenting on the various actors who have been named by Ivory in previous letters: David Warner, Tom Courtenay, David Hemmings, Michael Crawford, James Fox; passing on word of Foo's present work in a West End play, brought by Jennifer, who is back in Bombay; wondering if the attention Foo is receiving in London help them; closing, "I haven't had a quiet moment since your telegram came."
