Confirming that the copy of his book, The seven worlds of Theodore Roosevelt, has arrived, and stating that she can start it after she finishes Alan Le May's The unforgiven, "which is the story of the film I am going to Mexico to do for John Huston"; writing that Florence Reed has been ill and that she has therefore been rehearsing and doing the play (T.S. Eliot's "The family reunion") with the understudy, and remarking that she will not be sorry if they close on Sunday "as the play is difficult enough without being thrown off balance."; mentioning that the picture she did in London, "Orders to kill", opens in New York next week.
