Summary
Writing that she has just returned (to New York) from Durango, Mexico, where filming (of the "The unforgiven" with John Huston) went over schedule; recounting the grueling schedule the cast endured during filming and mentioning that she managed to avoid "the amoebic bug" while she was there; adding that she is writing a "little piece" on D.W. Griffith for Reader's digest, and commenting on Homer Croy's book Starmaker : the Story of D. W. Griffith, which Seymour Stern called "hogwash" and of which she remarks "Certainly, it is not about any man I ever knew"; adding that she never met or spoke with Croy, although she is credited in the book, and stating that she understands Croy to be "a dear old man who perhaps was writing mostly of his own life."; promising to write as soon as she has read "Julia Marlowe."
