Summary
Writing that she is enjoying making a film with with Anthony Asquith (i.e. "Orders to kill", 1958), adding that she is going to Straford on Monday to see John Gielgud and Peggy Ashcroft play Shakespeare, and that she will fly to Berlin on the 30th "to do the [Thornton] Wilder '525' [i.e. "The wreck on the 5:25"] and Tennessee Williams' 'Portrait of a Madonna' for the State Department opening of Congress Hall there"; informing him that she expects to arrive back in New York in mid-October; expressing her hope that the "T.R. book is going well" (a reference to Wagenknecht's The seven worlds of Theodore Roosevelt) and noting that he should have heard from (Richard) Griffith by now "about the film history."
