Summary
Thanking him for lending her a book on architecture and enclosing a speech (presented on May 15, 1957, at the centennial celebration of the American Institute of Architects in Washington D.C.), which she says was well received and "made an impression"; informing him that she called Richard Griffith, "who was full of optimism about your project" and promised to write Wagenknecht in detail; writing that she and her sister Dorothy might go abroad soon, as she has been offered a part in a film in London by Anthony Asquith which she will probably accept "If it doesn't interfere with the schedule for Claire Booth Luce's play"; stating that she shares her "misgivings about the present state of affairs in Washington."
