Summary
Responding to his request to dedicate a work to her, saying she is "flattered to death" and that "of course I accept the dedication"; writing that she has just returned from a weekend with Isabel and Thornton Wilder, and that Thornton Wilder appears to have forgotten about writing "The ides of March", and is immersed in his book about "a Spanish dramatist, I think, of the 17th century"; noting that she will be in his "neighborhood" during the summer, either doing Noel Coward's "The Marquise", or J.M. Barrie's "Legend of Leonora", and that she looks forward to seeing him and (his wife) Dorothy when she comes north; adding that her sister Dorothy has "returned from California looking slightly better, but still not quite herself", and that her mother grows steadily frailer.
