Summary
Apologizing for not answering his last letter and explaining that she was "playing in Selznick's 'Portrait of Jenny' when it arrived" and that she left promptly afterwards to tour in Noel Coward's "The Marquise", adding that they will finish in Bucks County the end of September, after which she will return to New York and go from there to Italy, "as I have a chance to do a film in England in the winter."; remarking that she agrees with about "Duel in the sun", noting "It has been called 'Lust in the dust'" and that she has not seen "Margie" and will "try to find it"; sending him the address for Seymour Hughes and Glenn Hughes, and writing that Glenn Hughes sent her his play "Mrs. Carlisle" (i.e. "Mrs. Carlyle"), which she found "beautifully written" but "greatly over-length".
