Summary
Introducing "statement #2" (enclosed) for "Shakespeare Wallah"; discussing Merchant's activities in India regarding "Shakespeare Wallah" and expressing concern about getting the film past the Indian censors; debating the relative advantages of submitting it to film censors in Calcutta as opposed to the film censors in Bombay; hoping Jhab received "your pentels" [presumably Pentel pens] which Ivory sent to India with Merchant's suits; asking if Jhab will stay with them when he comes to New York, and if he would like to see a doctor while he's there for his fainting; asking Jhab to dissuade Merchant from going to Kabul; saying Paramount should pay for both of them to go, and to India as well.
