Forms part of a collection of letters by English journalist, author, and editor, Frederick Greenwood (1830-1909), and other members of the Greenwood family.
Inscriptions/Markings
With date of "August 3 1886" and other marks and annotations inscribed in pencil by former owner J.W. Robertson Scott; August 3 fell on a Tuesday in 1886, and Scott's date is presumably derived from a postmarked envelope which no longer accompanies Greenwood's letter.
