Summary
Sympathizing with him and saluting "your and Ismail's courage"; praising the final version of the film, which she saw again the past weekend; expressing a lack of surprise that outside producers have expressed an interest in investing in future films; contrasting the screening for "the Secretary of the Ministry" that Jhab attended on Saturday ("it was a grim occasion [...] those hideous civil servants") with the screening she attended on Sunday ("everyone so appreciative and so entirely with the film all the way through [...] There wasn't a dull moment, not a moment's slackening of attention by anyone"); agreeing with the people who have told her that "this film will go over very well in India, whatever happens elsewhere" but expressing concern about the censors' opinions; telling him not to worry about buying clothes for Jhab.
