Summary
Telling him that she also wishes she was with him "in your hour of trial and tribulation which was also mine"; adding that she took a sale of an article of hers in November to the magazine of the British Overseas Airways Corporation (BOAC) for "almost the exact equivalent of a return ticket from Delhi to New York" as a sign that she should go to New York; explaining why she'd changed her mind ("such a journey might give me some relief but what would I be doing for you? Only adding an additional burden, that's all"); saying that she hopes to see him next year, "probably in September"; disclosing that "Nana and Polly want to get married as soon as possible"; describing the obstacles to their current plans, namely that most American colleges are no longer accepting applications for the 1971 academic year (though "Polly says he has admission in Columbia if he wants it--but does he want it?"); asking if he's heard anything from Catherine Freeman lately, because she hasn't received replies to her letters; asking him for new records for her daughters, Ava and Poji, as having the latest records is "a matter of great pride" for them; wishing him a happy New Year.
