Summary
Noting that he has enclosed another review of The Guru that was published in "Show, a very fancy magazine which is hardly like the Hudson Review"; asking her to return the review when she's finished with it; asking if "that scene at the gate of Vikram's house and in the car afterward" could be combined and whether she could give him two new versions of the scene that both cut out "the business of people throwing stones"; suggesting potential titles for the film; calling the typewriter set "fantastic"; expressing that he thinks Sudarshan Dhir is not rising to the opportunity and is not thinking "in terms of the camera, or, what's worse, here, in terms of the typewriter"; clarifying that when he says he's fine with repeating the dance number at the beginning and at the end but that he doesn't want to reusing individual shots; adding that this distinction is also why he would like the first scene at the beginning to be a rehearsal, "which will make the ending sequence seem an improvement".
