Summary
Discussing her new vision for a shorter scene 2, which would begin with Hari already mixing drinks; explaining why she believes this is the way to shoot this scene ("it's enough for him to get embarrassed twice -- once with the zip, the second time when he turns round with the finished drink; three times would be too much"; saying that she is waiting for him to tell her how they will get Lucia into the ashram; describing again an idea for an additional scene that she had as a way to "plant the ashram theme earlier on"; noting that this change would mean "two extra scenes", which is not the goal; ruminating over potentially making him shoot scenes that will be unnecessary and might make the movie over its allotted length; expressing surprise that "Shashi really said to you that no one has confidence in you" and wondering if he really meant it or was merely irritated; clarifying that "Jennifer said nothing like that, you misunderstood me on the phone if you think that's what I said"; stating that she is returning the "Hudson Review" to him and is definitely not deliberately changing the subject; challenging his conviction that the ending she has suggested is impossible due to technical difficulties.
