Discussing the ongoing negotiations for the distribution of "Shakespeare Wallah" with Fox; saying plans are definite for a film of "Vertical and Horizontal," for which he is recruiting more "budhis" "to help us in various ways"; saying Columbia Records is bringing out an album of the music from "Shakespeare Wallah"; saying that Erik Ross's "dedication" [i.e. christening, for which Merchant was one of two god-fathers] is on the 29th and he is very excited to be a god-father; promising to relate an "funny incident" involving Jim and the baby in another letter.
