Summary
Describing her anxiety since they last wrote "with hints of deals about to be concluded" and begging them for any news-- "I die for more news"-- including "disappointments or setbacks," which she promises to keep quiet about to everyone except Jhab; asking if they have written to the advertising man she recommended, and who has done work for Jhab in the past; discussing some issues concerning her publisher and the production of her latest book; saying that the French translation of "The Householder" [unclear if this refers to the published script, or translation of the dialogue for subtitling] is in the works, and asking if she can use the money owed to Ivory for the cover photograph of her book to pay the French translator; telling them that right now "it's murderously hot and oppressive and depressing," as well as dry; referring to "that wretched Washington Nehru woman" and how her mother met her and found her to be a familiar type; saying she has more to say but since she has run out of space, she will probably use another aerogramme.
