Summary
Enclosing a synopsis of "Shakespeare Wallah" for translation [not present], and insisting that the translations into French and German be done "not by someone who happens to have learned these languages at school," but by "an educated German and Frenchman"; admitting that her own German is "the German of a 12-year-old child" and she is not qualified to do anything but collaborate with "a real German," though she does not want to; saying she doesn't think the Shakespeare scenes need to subtitled in German; mentioning that Madhur has a director who is interested in casting her and she'd like him to see "Shakespeare Wallah"; mentioning that both Madhur and Foo (Felicity Kendal) are pinning their career hopes on the Berlin Film Festival; musing on Madhur's temperament and how it reminds her of young(er) Merchant; saying she has just registered Ava at Renana's school, much to the consternation of her ayah; cringing over a line of dialogue she now hates.
