Apologizing for not making it to Bombay for a screening of "Shakespeare Wallah"; feeling sad that Jennifer and Shashi didn't like it; saying, however, that they shouldn't make too much of it, and shouldn't do any more screenings except for "utilitarian purposes," not even in Delhi; telling them "nothing more has been heard from Mrs. Gandhi" and they should probably forget about trying to enlist her support; laying out more reasons not to hold another screening; saying the best option for her and Jhab to see it would be to come to Bombay, and Madhur can see it in Berlin in a month's time; trying to further explain "how I feel about this."
