Summary
Assuming they have started the reshoots [for "Shakespeare Wallah"]; entreating them to "try things out in rehearsal" before committing to them; offering some alternative dialogue; enclosing some other alternative lines [not present]; saying to Merchant that "I hope things turned out all right in Poona and you brought back Amina [Merchant's sister] & both children safe & sound. Such a terrible thing to happen; it makes one so angry"; saying she is ill ("prostrate") again, and cannot attend any of the film festival screenings, even if she could get tickets, and that the festival "seems to have boiled down to ... Raj Kapoor, Dev Anand, Marie Seton, Amita Malika & Dr. Mulk Raj Anand," and the foreign entries are "wretched"; sending a list of people to whom she would like them to send complimentary tickets to "The Householder" when it opens in Calcutta; mentioning a few expenses they need to reconcile and reimburse each other for; thanking them for leaving "Mitra's Dunlopillo [a brand name] pillow," which she is currently "resting my poor, sick, sick head on"; asking about what will be reshot.
