Summary
Admitting that he and Merchant are a little worried that they haven't heard from her and concerned she is so upset she might not write again; explaining in great detail an idea he has for a film about the friendship between an Indian musician or "Ustad" and a young English fan of Indian music; suggesting Dilip Kumar for the musician and Madhur as one of his wives, possibly Utpal Dutt as a rival musician, and someone like James Fox as the Englishman; saying he will write another letter soon full of "news," and asking her to write back soon; letting her know that "Shakespeare Wallah opens on December 16 in London" and they will be showing "The Householder" that day in Dinuba to raise money for the Boy Scouts.
