Hoping this letter finds Merchant "in the pink of health" and letting him know she, her husband, and her mother are well, and that her mother is there because she will have her baby soon; asking Merchant to send "the stomach belt," because "if my tummy becomes big I will look awful"; thanking Merchant for some hair spray and describing Gazala (presumably her daughter) eating chocolate and running about; asking after Ivory, again inquiring after Merchant's health, and about the film; saying they are praying for his success; asking him to send the belt to Bombay, because she will be there by the time it arrives.
