Noting that Ivory, now in California, has received a letter from Ruth and Jhab, and wondering, "Why am I deprived of this pleasure?"; telling them he is meeting with potential distributors for "Shakespeare Wallah" and lamenting how "Everything takes so much time"; telling them his friend Faie is coming to Delhi and he is sending "a record and hair brush for you and two packets of blades for Jhab" with her; informing them that "Columbia has released Householder in Washington yesterday and telephoned me that they had a very good theatre and they hope that the film should do well" and may possibly be re-released in New York; discussing the possible project "Esmond in India," and mentioning that an agent of theirs will be writing to James Fox to see if he would be interested; telling them he is going to London to support "Shakespeare Wallah" and try to get in sold in various territories.
