Stating that Jhab has told him she refuses to see a doctor for her dizzy spells; commiserating with Ruth over the dizzy spells, and suggesting she go to England for treatment; saying it is a shame she can't go next month during the London Film Festival, as Ismail, Jennifer, and Phoo (Felicity Kendal) will all be there, alsong with Ruth's family and friends; saying he has also sent her a large packet with a number of items: ephemera from their recent ocean voyage, advertisements, reviews for "Shakespeare Wallah", and other items; mentioning that they are thinking of doing a documentary on Nirad Chaudri [which will eventually become "Adventures of a Brown Man in Search of Civilization"]; asking her what she thinks of doing a film of her novel "Esmond in India"; warning her that Faie Joyce is about to arrive in India, and hoping she and Jhab will "have her out once, she's been awfully nice to us."
