Summary
Telling Ivory that "The Householder" ran to packed houses its first weekend in Delhi, in spite of a "storm of unprecedented magnitude"; describing many of the reviews and enclosing two; saying Renana's classmates saw a negative review of the film and tried to comfort her; relating accounts of friends who saw the film; saying "apparently Leela Naidu put in an appearance" at one screening; relating Jhab's conversations with theater managers; telling Ivory not to take the reviews she has enclosed personally, and asserting that developing a thick skin for such reviews "probably is good for one's character"; saying they are planning to see the Hindi version on Wednesday; telling him to concentrate on working on "Shakespeare Wallah" and not to worry about what's happening with "The Householder."
