Transcribing from memory-- as they were not allowed to give him a hard copy-- the letter sent from the Reserve Bank to Columbia Pictures; asking Ivory to speak to Columbia New York and ask them to instruct them to tell their representative in India to pay MIP the 4 lakhs they are owed; telling Ivory that "four huge banners" have been set up for "The Householder" and several companies have approached him to sponsor the premiere; asking Ivory to bring a copy of "The Sword and the Flute" when he comes to India; saying he is trying to get the publicity campaign restarted.
