Summary
Acknowleging receipt of two letters and a telegram from Ivory, but saying neither he nor Jhab can do anything until the MPEAA's representatives return to India; chastising Ivory for not replying to Jhab's letter of the 3rd; saying he will send a copy of a letter he sent to Chester Bowles and Ruth's latest draft of "Shakespeare Wallah"; discussing publicity and exhibition arrangements he has made for the Indian release of "The Householder"; repeating his request for Ivory to get the world distribution rights for "The Householder" reverted to them, and saying that the money from the Columbia deal would be "all very well," but it isn't worth the "physical and mental agony" it is causing them, and that Shashi, Leela, Mitra, and others are willing to wait to be paid.
