Saying he received and answered Ivory's cable; correcting what seems to be a misunderstanding on Ivory's part as to the mechanics of what will be acceptable to the Indian government concerning the distribution of "The Householder" in India by Columbia Pictures and the MPEAA; explaining that he encountered the same issues of foreign import with his film "The Creation of Woman"; vowing, if Columbia will not see reason, to distribute "The Householder" on his own; begging Ivory to understand that he and Jhab can do no more on their end.
