Summary
Enclosing a budget [not present] for "Shakespeare Wallah," with the understanding that it is probably less than Ivory would like; saying he has heard from Subrata Mitra and Satyajit Ray and they are starting their third project in two years; feeling dissatisfied in comparison by having only produced one and insisting he wants to make at least two in the following two years, if not three; elaborating on the scenario where Kine Enterprises distributes "The Householder" rather than Columbia; saying he received the tapes and one-sheet (or poster) Ivory sent, but also a booklet he deems "not very good"; repeating the Kendals' need for firm dates for shooting; asking Ivory to write as soon as possible, and noting that "Your letters are few by comparison [to mine]"; asking "Please do not spend any more money on telegrams and calls, it is sheer waste-- I do not approve of it."
