Summary
Telling Ivory that Merchant left Delhi for Bombay yesterday for his sister Rashida's wedding, and when she and Jhab returned home from dropping him off at the airport, they both went straight to bed and slept until morning-- Merchant's presence was just "so much there, generating energy + vitality + burning up weaker vessels in his vicinity"; describing how stressed Merchant was about the wedding and its "noise + bustle" and expense; describing a secret "development" in the saga of the 4 blocked lakhs, and her disgust with Columbia Pictures and how they have behaved; asking "why are we wasting time + energy + our feelings in calling Columbia names? They're so dirty that one becomes dirty just by continuing with them"; saying Merchant is going to contact some Indian distributors himself, in case they need to make a break with Columbia; hoping things can be resolved soon so that Ivory can return to India.
