Saying he is in Delhi and that he wired Ivory from both Bombay and Delhi; describing how people in India feel "sad and sympathetic and frightened" by the news of the Kennedy assassination; repeating a shorter version of the meeting with Dutt over the distribution of "the Householder"; describing in detail the trailer they want to make for the Indian market (including a small sketch at the top of page [2]), and asking for Ivory to send his opinion on it "quickly"; assuring Ivory that "Ruth and Jhab and family are fine"; recounting how he brought Geoffrey Kendal's diary and both he and Ruth read it-- "It is very exciting and Ruth thinks that we can 'knit' a plot and make a good film"; saying he is sending the script with Faie, who will be in New York soon-- "Please take the script and read it and let Ruth know how you feel."
