Summary
Telling Ivory that he received got 3 letters from him this morning, including one from Burns Weston; expressing general frustration with everyone involved in the issues around the Indian release of "The Householder"; emphasizing that they need to get the film through the censors before Dec. 3; saying he "read your letter send [sic] to Jhab-- all your points are valid but what can be done[?]" and he is upset that Ivory has sent none of the things he requested; expressing frustration at "everything" being "stuck" and saying he doesn't blame Ivory, "but fate, only fate. I feel terribly depressed and sad but such is life"; admitting there is "one good thing" in that the Indian exhibitors are giving them "very favourable terms"; asking if Ivory has contacted Jay Rabin; saying he has received a letter and a check for $50 from Ivory's father "to buy a present for my future wife" and believes there has been some misunderstanding; entreating Ivory to "make up your mind about our nnext [sic] project and come here as quickly as possible"; enclosing a letter and budget to that end.
