Summary
Lamenting the news about Madhur and Saeed Jaffrey's marriage -- "I was sad angry and depressed to read about M and Saeed"-- in the two letters he received this morning from Ivory; expressing gladness at Ivory's taking Jabeen Jalil to the ballet in New York; wondering if Ivory has received all his letters, and if so, why he hasn't answered his many requests; repeating the issues and begging Ivory to do so; saying Ruth has also sent Ivory some material and wondering if anyone is forwarding Ivory's mail; suggesting they all focus on one thing at a time; telling Ivory he saw Kendal's company perform Julius Caesar and Henry V and "was quite impressed"; again questioning why Ivory hasn't replied to his many many queries; explaining more financial matters, and saying "I have no money whatsoever-- I hate being like a beggar."
