Noting that he has not received a letter from Ivory in more than a week; repeating the possible schemes for releasing "The Householder" in India, arrived at with Jhab's help at the Indian Finance Ministry; entreating Ivory to deal with Columbia on his end-- "Please please get the whole thing straight and act fast ... I am going to be here in Delhi till I hear from you something concrete and defintte [sic]"; asking Ivory to send him more Merchant Ivory letterhead and business cards; lamenting a New Year apart-- "I am looking forward to a very early reunion I can't stand the world with out your support and backing"; telling Ivory that "Ruth is presently reading Bergman and Antonioni for possible help on screenplay for the actors film ["Shakespeare Wallah"]"; sending love and wishes for a good Christmas.
