Summary
Thinking of her on Christmas Eve and wanting to visit her in "Guernavaca" [sic]; reporting a conversation he had about her with Gilbert Miller, Bolton's oldest friend, who remembered her positively; describing Miller; explaining that, because he is a certain age, he can appreciate beauty vicariously; informing that "Anya" closed because he was not listened to, particularly by George Abbott; informing that he and P.G. Wodehouse have completed work on "Win With Wooster" and noting the success of "The World of Wooster"; regretting that the stars of "The World of Wooster" have become so successful as a result of their appearance on that show that they are unavailable for "Win With Wooster", as Dennis Price is in "Any Wednesday" and Ian Carmichael is in "a bedroom farce" ["Say Who You Are"]; informing that he has two other plays, one in tryouts and one "in the making", but that that failure of "Anya" is acting as a deterrent for other ventures; responding with amusement to an anecdote about "the occasional domestic outburst"; expressing interest in writing another novel but noting that they only make money if the movie rights are sold or if they're "sufficiently rude"; noting that he is finishing this letter on Christmas day and giving Christmas wishes.
